I stayed here recently with my 7-year-old son when we came to watch the Manchester United v Lyon game at Old Trafford—and what an unforgettable experience it was! We arrived just in time to catch the Lyon players, who were actually staying at the hotel, boarding their team bus. My son was absolutely buzzing to see them up close, and it was such an exciting start to our trip. Before the match, we had a beautiful fish & chips in the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent, but what really stood out was the warm welcome we received from a lovely member of the hospitality team named Heba. She made my son feel like a VIP, spending a good 20 minutes chatting and amusing him while we waited for our meal. Her kindness and energy really added something special to our evening. The room itself was spotless, comfy, and perfect for our stay—no complaints at all. But honestly, it was the way Heba went above and beyond that made the whole experience exceptional. The next morning at breakfast (which was delicious, by the way!), we were so happy to see Heba again. She remembered us, asked my son about the game, and being a Manchester United fan herself, she had a lovely chat with him about how exciting it was. He felt seen, important, and totally over the moon. This wasn’t just a stay—it was an experience that made our trip even more memorable. We’ll definitely be booking again, and it’s all down to how Heba made my son feel so special. Thank you!

Staff were so friendly and room was so big and comfortable, everywhere else in Manchester charges the same price for a tiny suite whereas we got a nicely sized one bed apartment room for the same price. A lot of places say ‘apartment room’ and it doesn’t really live up to the name but this isn’t the case, this truly did feel like an apartment. We got a decent seating area with a four seater sofa and big tv right next to the views over Manchester, a kitchenette which we didn’t use but had all amenities to cook/eat anything including dishes and cutlery, and a four seater kitchen table to eat at. Temperature controls made it easy to get the room the temp we wanted, clean spacious bathroom with lots of towels and amazing water pressure, and huge bed with Netflix screen sharing compatible. Plus we were on 16th floor with perfect views over Manchester!

The help from staff is amazing - the rooms are absolutely fabulous: little kitchen with everything you need if you wanted to cook and save money; had a fabulous breakfast with an amass of choices to cater for every liking! Really nice& they whip you up omelettes wow really good stuff. The beds are comfortable; little sofa to chill on - what more could you want. Shower lovely easy to use lots of washing stuff towels lovely and warm heating or cool air. Great view. There are lots of shops and a coop just round the corner so everything is quite handy.

The hotel boasts a spacious setting and bang for your buck .This season, the view outside the window is especially breathtaking. Every detail of the space has been arranged with great care, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are attentive and friendly. Perfectly located, The Hyatt is well-equipped with surrounding facilities, just steps away from the prestigious University of Manchester and close to the vibrant city center. Whether by taxi or bus, getting around is exceptionally easy and convenient.

The hotel is located near the university. The surroundings are really nice. It's a 10-minute-walk away from to the train station (Manchester Oxford Road). The room was extremely clean, comfortable and well-supplied. We were on one of the highests floors, so the view was also amazing, especially at night. It is one of the best hotels I have been to, and I will be staying again there the next time I visit Manchester without any doubt.
